Tomyam is a well known hot and sour clear soup in Thailand, neighbouring countries and around the world. "Tom" means boiling, "Yam" refers to spicy Thai salad with lime juice.
The most popular dish is called Tom Yam Kung (kung = shrimp) cooking with coconut milk as slightly mild taste variation of original soup. The other names are Tom Yam Kai (kai=chicken), Tom Yam Kah Moo (kah=leg, moo=pork) and Tom Yam Talay (talay = sea/seafood). The soup is usually served with perfume/jasmine rice. However, it can be a noodle soup bowl such as Tom yam with glass noodles or different types of rice noodles.

Shrimps/Chicken
Champignon
Lemongrass
Shallots
Lime juice
Galangal-white ginger family (Kah)
Kaffir lime leaves
Red chili
Fish sauce
Coconut milk
There are 3 types of Tom Yam spices as follows:
1. Tom yam paste is made of all fresh herbal ingredients such as galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, kaffir lime peel, shallots, Thai chilli, garlic, etc. mixed with vegetable oil.
2. Tom Yam broth
3. Dried Tom Yam spices set
Additional spices that you need to make your tom yam more tasty and colorful is Thai chili paste. (the below image)
You can choose option 1 or 2 with fresh ingredients or combination of tom yam paste with dried spices and Thai chili paste or tom yam broth with dried spices and Thai chili paste. Of course, the best is all fresh ingredients. However, if you cannot find in your country, you can order from us.
