Children's Zoo is the place where kids love to visit with parents or teachers. The place where they can finally enjoy the outdoor activities, observe the animals in the zoo.
Most zoos in Sweden are not open all year round, the opening time in general from mid- Feb or March to early November. Let's visit an interesting zoo in Sweden, the open-air zoo of skansen is located on Djurgården Island in Stockholm:

At this attractive location, you may spend the whole day with children.There are many wild animals in the Scandinavian such as reindeer, wolves, red fox, bears, moose or elk, lynx and other Nordic species. Most favorite animal is the moose:
Looking at the female moose across the fence, it seems to like mild to cold temperature and solitude. Deep snow area is not where the moose goes, because the predators, grey wolves and bears live there. Besides, moose moves very slow in opposite to deers, although the moose is in the deer family (species):
Deer lives in group. Nomads who move from a place to another do animal herding, especially reindeer:
The male deer with velvet antler grow and shed new antlers each year:
The process of growing antlers appears to be the same as female reindeer, except the Chinese deer species. A tribe of Normads, Sami people do reindeer herding. As they live from a place to another, they build a temporary house called Sami hut or a summer tent of sami people from the northern scandinavia (The Lapps):
Sami food would be dried reindeer meat. The sami storehouse has wooden columns like animal legs:
You need a ladder to go up. It is placed under the house! This storehouse doesn't look stable because of the various height of columns. If someone would remove some stones that supported the columns, it would probably collapse at once. However, It is probably fixed installation because the ladder cannot be removed. You can now even walk under the house.
The historical livestock farmsteads in this open-air museum are quite interesting, you should visit if you have more time.
