Curiousity about a well-known mineral water led us to visit a town called "San Pellegrino". This sign post confused tourists as it did not point to where the visitors should go. It points to the entrance only for the transportation of the company. (Do not follow this sign post!!!)

While walking further to search for the right place, suddenly being caught by a wonderful fountain at the roundabout in front of the company which has the same name of the town "San Pellegrino".

The town San Pellegrino is located in northern Italy, the San Pellegrino Water is produced in San Pellegrino Terme (Thermal Spring):

Many fountains are easily found in this town, one of them stands in the city (opposite the Grand Hotel) which has the shape of lotus leaves and its leaves floating on the top :

Many unique buildings are decorated with dark red color and star:

The previous Thermal spring (Terme in Italian), is located near the actual one : (Does anyone read TEAME?)

When you see this previous one and walk further, the entrance of San Pellegrino Terme building is in front of you:

The old charming ticketing booth of S. Pellegrino Thermal Spring, Biglietti(IT) = Ticket:

Glancing through the dark red fence, it is such a modern luxury spa!!!:

At the reception, there are many mini lounges and the wall decoration with the retro advertisments:

"Aranciata" is "Orange" in italian. The girl in the poster has an orange head drinking from a bottle of sparkling water. This 2 in 1 advertisement is quite efficient and economical. (Glancing at one advertisement get 2 products at the same time and lower cost than making 2 advertisements)

The advertisement that looks like Art Nouveau poster:

San Pellegrino Terme seems to provide many seatings for prospect visitors:

Interestingly, 2 swing chairs are designed to be in front of reception where visitors...

1. do not wish to sit and enjoy their time in this thermal spring because somehow it would feel like the guests are being watched by the receptionists while sitting on these chairs.

2. maybe children wish to sit outside while waiting for the parents get information at the reception.

Leaving the building and crossing the river, you will see the Grand Hotel - a silent witness of the early days of tourism where only the rich people could afford to travel and services. This Building must have welcomed many important und famous guests over the years. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently closed due to reconstruction:

The river that flows through the city center of San Pellegrino town is called "Brenvo" and its color is like laurel green (greenish grey/gray):

The weather is quite warm in summer, let's get some ice cream. Green water ice or "Lime Sorbet" in San Pellegrino town fits to this town. It consists of water, sugar, mint, lime and coloring:

The water ice has the same color as its river!! As you know, Italian ice cream is something that you should not miss when you visit Italy.

Many colorful ice cream with various favors that you can choose from the counter are always attractive to thirsty people in summer:

Some green ice cream items to choose (mint, pistachio nuts, lime ice), especially when it became a dessert:

It is really hard to make a decision which items to take. Do you agree?

Having mineral water at home or office is now possible:

There is a sparkling machine (carbonation system) connected to the tap water system. If you do not have this machine, you can try "Rose quartz water" by adding rose quarz in the tap water. Rose quartz is told to be a heal stone in the ancient world. It is easy to do it yourself by adding some stones that contain mineral in a jar of water and leave it for a long while (4 hours).

Cheers! To your health!
