Tent Music Festival

The international Zelt-Musik-Festival (ZMF) takes place in Freiburg im Breisgau, near the Mundenhof zoo every year. The festival is one of the oldest music events in Europe. The style of music is a mixture of oldies, modern and pop-rock music which attracts the music lovers.

Dim Sum

As a traveller, when you get up late because of jet lag, brunch in a teahouse is a good choice if you can live without coffee in the morning because they do not offer coffee. A Chinese brunch tea (Yum Cha) including Dim Sum (dumplings) is traditional Cantonese food. It is usually served in a bamboo steamer, eaten with various dipping sauces and usually combined with drinking tea (Yum cha). The well known Cantonese Dim Sum is in Hong kong where you can enjoy shopping as well.

Fun with Herb Planting

After winter season, spring and summer comes. Spring is the ideal time to plant your own herbs. This is not a bad idea, as fresh herbs have a much more intensive smell and taste than dry ones and will give the food you cook this extra 'freshness'.

Chinese Medicine Soup

A Chinese origin soup which contains wolfberry, it is a fruit of Lycium barbarum (Lycos = wolf in Greek, Barbarum = somewhere else) or Matrimony vine from Ningxia where the majority of "Goji berries" are harvested and produced there. It has many other names such as wolfberry, boxthorn, Himalayan/Tibetan Goji (Gojibeeren/Bocksdorn = Thorn of goat or Getrocknete Bocksdorn-Beeren in German, Baies de goji séchées in French, gugija in Korea).
