A long time ago, people traveled across the ocean to find new places to live. Settlements and civilizations began to develop and cultivate the land. We have heard so much about the viking that rampaged and ruled the land in the fjords. They came with greatly designed wooden ships:
This amazing ship is located in front of a museum in the oldest town of Norway. "Tønsberg" is a town in the county of Vestfold, founded by the Vikings in the 9th Century. The viking museum is called "Slottsfjellsmuseet." It is nice to visit the museum, to see e.g. some instruments used for whale hunting in the old times:
There are some other places to visit such as the castle rock tower or Tønsberg Fortress, including the ruins from "Castrum Tunsbergis" - Norway's largest castle in the 13th century. (see more images, please read the article: The Castle Rock Tower):
and the military bunker from World War II:
The interior of military bunker is very dark and wet. Be careful when you walk into the narrow passages:
Although, the exhibition area is equipped with some light installations:
The entrance is near the kiosk where you can buy some food and drinks:
The museum guide will give a lot of information about the bunker and farmhouses and let the visitors see the interior of bunker and tell the visitors to wear the helmets. I strongly suggest you to do so because i bumped my head on the ceiling when i walked in the darkness. They should also provide torches as well or use your mobile phone. Maybe it is a spiritual walk by using your inner light?:) After the tour of the bunker, the guide will guide you to see the interior of traditional farmhouses of Vestfold:

Now, it is time to dine. The viking food called "Vikinggryte" that you may try is near the farmhouses and bunker:
The guy told me that the menu is translated to the viking stew. It is a hot meal that served with a dipping sauce - the same sauce used for Swedish meatballs and a few pieces of thin crispy bread:
An open-air dining would be more "funtastic" if you would not need to chase the bird away from your food:
Hmm, yummy! After the trip back from Norway, i missed this viking stew and tried my good spirit to cook. Here comes my "Viking Vibe":
