The continuation of the little man from Luxembourg, let's start with the place, called the Angels of Paris:

A pastry shop at Rue Monge in Paris has an inscription "Bourboneux Macarons" on the exterior wall. Bourboneux is a pastry chef that made delicious macarons.

French macarons have almost the same or similar size like other bakery shops in France and other countries in Europe:

Paul macarons, mini or big macarons, mini ones are just a little bit bigger than luxemburgerli and intense flavors. (good price and excellent taste):

One of famous exclusive macarons in France,"Laduree" offered a special macaron, "Lily of the Valley"( a lucky charm flower) as a French tradition to celebrate on the labour day, the first of May. This macaron has green color with white cream in the middle:

It tastes like a perfume (fragrance scent) and make you feel like a luxury food in the royal class packaging. The ingredients, the middle layer is called "Ganache", the mixture of butter and cream, heating and pouring it over any chopped chocolate, then stirring it until smooth. It is usually added with any liqueur or any flavors such as vanille extracts. The reason to use butter is to make a shiny surface and smooth texture.

The window display of macarons sticking on a cone is somehow a typical presentation of french macarons in many pastry shops:

The name in English "Macaron" is quite confusing with "o" or "oo", the other type of pastry called " Macaroon" which in German "Makronen=macaroons and Macarons= macarons". In the country where coconut grows, coconut macaroons look different because they are grilled on the flat pan like mini pancakes and sometimes they are added with some local ingredients which give color and flavor variations such as coconut Macaroons in Europe:

Sometimes, it is made with almond instead of coconut such as French macaroons are almond biscuits, mixture of meringue with ground almonds (sweet almond flour):

Did you see any differences? It comes to the conclusion that any time you bake similar cookies and put it together with some cream, it will end with this sandwich form:

This version is bigger than the mini version. If you would add some decoration, then you can call it a limited edition:

Let's bite macaron!
